More Things To Do in February
The Charleston Museum is holding a History Girl Party on the 7th.
Charles Towne Landing is having a living history event on the 14th. “A Day in the Life of a Colonist” will give you a sense of what life was like in the early settlement. Live demonstrations of the 17th century saker cannon will be held on the 21st.
A Junior Girl Scout Science Discovery Badge Workshop will be held at the Charleston Museum on the 28th. The Museum will have their annual fundraiser, An Evening in the Orient on the 21st.
Time to Think Spring! It’s the Lowcountry’s Home and Outdoor Living Show. It will be held at the Convention Center the 20th-22nd.
A Lowcountry Breath of Spring Flower Show at Cypress Gardens will be held the 27th-1st and open to the public Saturday and Sunday.
Get your taste buds primed ! The BB+T Charleston Food + Wine Festival will burst on the Charleston scene March 5th-9th to benefit the MUSC Children’s Hospital. There’s lots of new things to do, see and our favorite, eat and all for a good cause. Bobby Flay is the headliner.

Now called President’s Day, it’s a state and federal holiday.// Feb. 21 The Bridesmaids Ball in Greenville will help the homeless.// Also, the One Stop Shop Hop a sewing and quilting get together in Lancaster; The Horry County Museum Quilt Gala and the Perc Up in Anderson, but only if you like percussion and drumming events.// Feb. 22 in Charleston is the Chef’s Feast to benefit the Lowcountry Food Bank. Whew!
