Good Morning! It’s a perfect Saturday morning in the Lowcountry and what a great start to a long Memorial Day weekend.
The First Annual Fish Fry was held at The Washout this morning. No not food…it’s a chance for surfers to get together with the boards they’ve been making to talk shop, talk story, trade ideas and tell big tales. Pete Kohn was the instigator, you see him here with one of his shapes. Foster, Gunter and PeteĀ at the contest walkover in front of some of their boards.

The joggers and cyclists were out in huge numbers at the beach. The Farmers Market downtown was filled with Spoleto and Piccolo Spoleto goers, Spoletians we call them. Lots to do downtown this weekend that for sure! So get out and enjoy this glorious day! I have my high school reunion, my first that I have attended, just don’t know where it is yet! Details, details!
