On this day in 1960 I remember it snowed. It was such an amazing thing, I had never seen snow. It was my best friend’s birthday and I could not believe that she had snow AND no school for her birthday party. Funny the things we remember. I found this photo of the neighborhood where I grew up in Riverland Terrace and thought I’d include it since it’s such a rainy day and I haven’t taken any pictures. It’s a picture of the oak trees on Wappoo Road.
