Showcasing innovative green design, the home should be ready for tours by Summer 2009 and featured in the magazine in October 2009.     Woodlands Inn Summerville has been notified that it has retained its AAA Five Diamond status for lodging and dining, one of only four properties nationwide.</p>
<p>     The Boathouse on Ellis Creek will open in mid-February in the Mimi&#8217;s location on James Island. Mimi&#8217;s will close the end of the year.</p>
<p>     Magnolia Plantation is undertaking a 15 year renovation of its historic romantic-style garden, America&#8217;s oldest garden and the last large-scale, U.S. romantic garden.</p>

<p> Marion Square will be the site of the Green Fair showcasing many green technologies, green building roundtables, making your own cleaning products, eating locally and  of sustainable products. It&#8217;s all happening on Sunday afternoon, the 28th.</p>
<p>The SC Swamp Sweep will be only one of the many events taking place across the state&#8217;s rivers, creeks and beaches on the 20th. Help keep our state beautiful.</p>
<p> Santee Cooper is part of the Solar Power Initiative. Through the program, customers can get help going green with federal and state tax credits and 10 year interest free loans.</p>
<p>  Charleston County has received a cash award from the EPA . The award is part of the EPA&#8217;s Community Action for a Renewed Environment program.</p>
